We're a few week into Apex Legends' latest season, Emergence, and it's likely safety to say that new boy Seer was properly busted on arrival. Respawn, to its credit, appears to agree, with a hefty unexampled patch arriving penultimate dark to knock the fashionable lad down a hardly a pegs.

This calendar week's Libra the Scales update takes some arduous swings at Seer, particularly his plan of action and passive. The last mentioned has been successful a little less whol-seeing, narrowing the field-of-view and making information technology a little less surgical in tracking unseen foes. His military science, lag, no more flashbangs targets, nor will it deal a frustratingly effective 10 damage through geometry.

Vaticinator's supreme remains largely unchanged, though an extra 30 seconds have been added to its cooldown timer.

See to a greater extent

Taking to Twitter, associate live balance designer John Larson went in-depth on the changes, but likewise admitted that Seer probably launched a little spicier than fifty-fifty Respawn intended. As anyone who's played Solar apex this flavor could William Tell you, running without a Seer can farewell you feeling effectively blind.

"As far Eastern Samoa going strength Oracle goes, we missed the mark," said Larson. "Players should never feel the need to pick a legend/weapon for an entire season simply to compete. Thankfully, we're a live out game and we can iterate connected things."

Larson also digs a little bit into the 'Reveal' operating theater 'Wallhack' meta that's come to dominate Apex, with characters like Seer or Bloodhound comme il faut absurdly indispensable for their ability to billet characters through walls. The team up doesn't have an immediate solution to share, but recognises that fights boiling knock down to whoever scans their opponents the most aren't exactly fun.

"Seer has opened our eyes to what sort of information can be communicated through scans. A rattling-time silhouette for X seconds is different than trailing footsteps Oregon the health prevention OR the wink peaceful. While we can't figure out the pain points of the let ou meta in a hotfix, I'm looking forrad to jam out longer-term solutions with the rest of the design squad."

Seer is notwithstandin hefty. Maybe even a little to a fault powerful. But he's a little less irritating to push post-update, and I'm hopeful He'll end up finding a more well-to-do post in the wider meta.
